This year, it won’t just be a local event, but a worldwide celebration, wherever members of our amazing community want to gather to share their love for home exchanging!
HomeExchange Day is happening in every corner of the world!
This year, we’re celebrating a huge milestone when the entire HomeExchange community, from every corner of the world, comes together to open their doors to old and new friends.
Gather your neighbors, your colleagues, or even your dog (because they’re part of the community too, right?).
From Rome to Reykjavík, from Sydney to San Francisco, from Cape Town to Stockholm, or from Buenos Aires to Vancouver, if you're a HomeExchange member ready to share your story, or a curious traveler eager to learn more, you can be part of this massive collaborative event.
We did it last year in The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, the UK, and the USA , and now we’re expanding this incredible celebration to the world. Special Perks for hosting a HomeExchange Day meetup
As a thank-you 🙏🏻 for organizing your meetup and sharing your HomeExchange experience, we’re giving you:
🤩 Double GP for each new member you convince to pay the membership by June 17th, 2025.
Who can participate on HomeExchange Day?
HomeExchange members with an active membership who have completed at least one exchange as a guest and one as a host will be eligible to become hosts and organize a meetup on HomeExchange Day.
🏡 Where you organize your meetup is totally up to you! Whether it's at your primary home, secondary home, at a local park, or even in a cozy café… wherever feels right. Easy as that!
🗓️ Can't make it on Sunday, June 8th? No worries there are alternative options! You can choose the day and time that works best for you. Feel free to organize your meetup on another day around the official date, between June 5th to June 13th, 2025. You also have the call on the best period to receive your guests: morning, afternoon or evening.
Not sure who your guests will be? Any travel enthusiast 🌍 curious about home exchanging and wanting to ask questions or learn more can sign up to join a host’s meetup as a guest. That includes the host’s friends, family, and coworkers too — everyone’s welcome! Plus, HomeExchange will be sharing it across all our channels (social media, press, emails, banners...) to invite like-minded travelers who live nearby.
To attend one of the participating meetups, all guests must register on the HomeExchange Day website — a new dedicated site launching very soon! This helps our amazing hosts know how many people to expect and be ready!
Once a guest registers to your meetup, you'll be notified with their contact details. It’s up to you to share the meetup address and time with them. Your guests will also receive your contact details so they can get in touch with you
Want to join forces with other members?
Of course! You can team up with other eligible HomeExchange members to host a group meetup together. It could be double fun! You’ll decide when and where the meetup will happen — at someone’s home, in a park, café, or anywhere that works for all of you. Here is how all of you will be rewarded:
🤩 For every guest of the group who attends and activates their membership by June 17th 2025, you'll receive Double GuestPoints - 500 GP! Since this is a group meetup with multiple HomeExchange hosts involved, the total GuestPoints will be divided equally among all hosts.
